Getting started

From sign-up to the first call the agent takes: what to prepare, the setup steps, and how to choose your phone number without giving up your current one.

What to prepare

Setup happens in your dashboard, with nothing to install and no software to download. Have on hand the information the agent will need to know.

  • The list of your services, with the duration of each one.
  • The names of your practitioners and their discipline.
  • Your opening hours, day by day.
  • Your front desk number, for transfers.

The steps

You create your account, then a guided setup walks you through it screen by screen. You can test the agent at any time during setup: a test button lets you hear exactly what your patients will hear. The trial lasts 14 days.

If your clinic already has a website, you can import it: we pull out the useful information and propose it to you. Nothing is written until you have reviewed and accepted it. An out-of-date website would produce wrong answers that the agent would repeat on the phone — that is why human review is not optional.

The phone number

You get a new number, and you forward your current line to it. This is the simplest and most reversible path: you keep your number, and you turn the forwarding off whenever you want. We provide a local Canadian number where available — ask us about your area code.

Moving your existing number over to our service is possible, but it is a long operation and hard to undo. We would rather advise against it until you have lived with call forwarding for a few weeks.
